Fatman
Here are 8 things you need to know about Fatman.
1. His real name is Johan Brummer, but he prefers to be called Fatman.
2. He is addicted to chocolates (for obvious reasons!).
3. He was in the army for one year and fitted into a size 36 pants.
4. His whole family is musical. His wife Susan is a music teacher and choir conductor, his 16-year-old daughter plays piano, trombone, drums and sings. His son is 11 and plays drums, guitar, piano and sings too.
5. He tried running a construction company for a year but realised he is terrible with a hammer and nails so went back to music
6. He is a huge Blue Bulls supporter, despite the fact that they’re struggling at the moment.
7. He has something in common with Idols SA judge Randall Abrahams. His all-time favourite artist, hero and inspiration is Elvis Presley. He loved and studied all Elvis’s music as well as the traditional Southern gospel hymns.
8. His favourite song is “Maak Die Bulle Almal Bokke”.
